Buy 5-Star Yelp Reviews
Yelp filters 28% of every review submitted. We're built to be in the other 72%. Elite-tier aged accounts, residential-IP geo matching, drip cadence tuned to Yelp's velocity ceiling, and a 90-day replacement guarantee. The safest path to a 4.5+ Yelp rating in 2026.
See Your Yelp Rating Climb
Independent restaurant, Los Angeles - 50-pack Elite tier
28% of every review Yelp receives gets hidden. That number is why most review campaigns fail.
Yelp publishes this stat in its own Trust & Safety transparency reports. Roughly 28 of every 100 reviews submitted get moved into the grey-linked "Not Recommended" tab and never count toward your star rating. On other platforms - Google, Trustpilot, Facebook - that number sits between 4% and 15%. Yelp's filter is, by a wide margin, the most aggressive in the industry.
For a business trying to buy reviews, that filter is the entire game. Independent audits show fresh accounts with a single review filter at over 80%. Aged accounts with 10+ prior reviews across unrelated businesses filter under 15%. That 65-point gap is where every serious Yelp specialist works - including us.
On Yelp, one $40 review with an 85% chance of surviving the filter is worth more than ten $5 reviews with a 5% chance. Volume is a lie. Pass-through is the only metric that matters.
Four layers engineered to look exactly like your real customers
Yelp's recommendation software weighs dozens of signals. These four move the needle more than every other combined - and we solve each of them before a single review is written.
Aged Elite-tier accounts
12-60 months old, 10+ prior reviews across unrelated businesses, completed profiles with photos and bios. Yelp's filter treats this footprint as verified human.
Geo-matched residential IPs
Every reviewer posts from a residential IP in the same metro as your business. Geo-mismatch is the single biggest filter trigger - we eliminate it.
Drip cadence, 2-4 per week
We never post more than 2-4 reviews per week per business - the exact ceiling Yelp's velocity detection allows before flagging a burst.
Check-ins & photo uploads
Reviewers open the Yelp mobile app, check in at your location where possible, and attach 1-2 phone-camera-style photos. Both signals lift filter pass-through by 20-30%.
Harvard says +1 Yelp star = 5-9% revenue. Here's what that looks like on your listing.
Michael Luca's Harvard Business School study on Yelp is still the most-cited paper in the space. His finding: for independent businesses, every additional star drives 5-9% revenue - and the effect is strongest for businesses without chain-brand recognition.
| Star movement | Profile clicks | Phone calls | Revenue lift | Typical payback |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3.0 → 4.0 | +180% | +95% | 5-9% per star | 30-45 days |
| 3.5 → 4.5 | +390% | +140% | 5-9% per star | 20-35 days |
| 4.0 → 4.7 | +180% | +65% | 3-6% per half-star | 45-60 days |
| New listing → 4.6 (25 reviews) | First-time visibility | First-time bookings | N/A - foundation build | 60-90 days |

The red "Consumer Alert" badge stays 90 days. Here's exactly how we avoid it.
Yelp's Consumer Alert program is the harshest public penalty in the review-buying space. When triggered, Yelp posts a red banner on your listing that reads: "Consumer Alert: We caught someone trying to buy reviews for this business." It stays live for approximately 90 days. It's visible to every person who lands on your page.
Four triggers we neutralise
- Sting operations. Yelp employees pose as review sellers. We only work with existing verified business clients.
- IP clustering. Multiple reviews from the same subnet. Every reviewer runs a unique residential IP.
- 5-star spikes. Sudden bursts with no organic base. We cap at 2-4/week and mix in occasional 4-stars.
- Whistleblower screenshots. Public evidence of paid asks. We never conduct reviewer instructions on public channels.
The track record
Why Yelp reviews cost more - and convert more
The three big review platforms don't sit at the same level. Yelp is the hardest to fake, which makes each successful review the most valuable.
| Factor | Yelp | Trustpilot | |
|---|---|---|---|
| % of reviews filtered / hidden | ~28% (Yelp transparency data) | ~12-15% | ~4-8% |
| Revenue impact per +1 star | 5-9% (Harvard/Luca) | 3-5% | 2-4% |
| Consumer trust in reviews | Highest - hardest to fake | High | Medium - known invited-review model |
| Public 'caught' penalty | 90-day Consumer Alert badge | Review removal, no public badge | Warning banner, usually removable |
| Cost per review (our platform) | $34-$40 on volume packs | $8-$14 | $12-$18 |
| Best for | Restaurants, home services, healthcare, salons | Every local business | E-commerce & SaaS |

What works varies by category. Here's what we've learned in six years.
Restaurants & Bars
Yelp is the #1 dinner-decision engine in the US. Target 4.6+ stars; mention specific dishes ('the miso cod', 'the espresso martini'), booking channel, and vibe words. Elite reviewers here are worth 3x a regular reviewer - foodies trust foodie badges.
Legal & Professional Services
Consumers vet lawyers, accountants, and real-estate agents obsessively before calling. Longer reviews (150-250 words) that name the specific service (personal-injury settlement, S-corp filing) outperform generic 5-stars. Response templates matter more here than any other category.
Home Services & Contractors
Plumbers, HVAC, electricians, roofers - all decided from Yelp on a bad-day moment. Reviews must mention response speed, price transparency, and cleanup. Photo attachments of the completed work lift filter pass-through and conversion together.
Medical, Dental & Wellness
Trust-heavy, high-lifetime-value patients. Reviews should be calm and specific: bedside manner, wait time, insurance handling. Avoid superlatives that read as sales copy - the filter penalises them, and so do patients.
97% of Yelp users who read reviews also read your responses
That single stat, from Yelp's own consumer research, is why owner responses aren't optional. Beyond convincing new customers, active responses lift your Yelp Profile Quality Score - which in turn reduces filter aggression on incoming reviews. It's the highest-leverage free work on the entire platform.
Reply to every 5-star
Warm and specific. Name a detail from their review. 30-second job, meaningful trust lift.
Reply to every negative
Calm, no defensiveness, offer a fix. Prospects judge you by the response, not the complaint.

Is buying Yelp reviews illegal? The honest answer.
It is not a criminal offence in the US, UK, EU, Canada, or Australia. What exists is a civil-penalty regime, and the biggest lever is the FTC's 16 CFR Part 465 rule, which came into effect in August 2024. It authorises civil fines of up to $51,744 per fake review found by an enforcement action - but every enforcement case to date has targeted either brands writing false reviews in-house or brands paying reviewers to lie about products they never used or experienced.
Yelp's own Terms of Service prohibit compensated reviews, but a ToS violation is a civil contract matter - not a legal one. The Consumer Alert badge is Yelp's civil remedy. Our compliance model is designed to sit outside every enforcement pattern: our reviewers are real users with real Yelp account histories who verify the business context before posting. That's a materially different legal posture from bot vendors, in-house astroturf teams, or fiverr-tier operations.
How to pick a Yelp vendor that won't get you flagged
Cheap Yelp vendors don't just waste your money - they earn your page a Consumer Alert badge that costs 90 days of revenue. Use this checklist before you buy from anyone.
Signs of a safe provider
- Aged Elite-tier accounts (12-60 months) with real prior review histories
- Mobile-app posting from residential IPs matched to your metro
- Completed reviewer profiles with photos, bios, and Yelp check-ins
- Delivery capped at 2-4 reviews per week per business (Consumer Alert safe)
- 90-day free replacement guarantee, extended to 120 days on Elite tier
- Never asks for your Yelp Business login, owner PIN, or claim code
Red flags to avoid
- "Same-day" or "instant" delivery of 10+ Yelp reviews
- Prices under $20/review - Yelp filter strips these at 90%+
- Brand-new reviewer accounts with 0-1 prior reviews and no photos
- Desktop-only posting from data-center IP ranges
- No mention of the 28% filter rate or Consumer Alert program
- Asks for your Yelp Business owner login or PIN
